The X-Factor Debate: Should back stage politics be brought into consideration when picking the winner?

Who watched the show last night? If you did you will have heard Louis and Tulisa’s comments to Misha B about her competitive nature which some other contestants have interpreted as bullying.  Gary Barlow and of course her mentor Kelly were both quick to defend the 19 year old wannabe slamming the other two judges for getting involved in the back stage antics.  But what do you think?  Should the public be made aware of how each contestant acts off screen before deciding who they crown the winner?  Or is it all about the music and talent?  We asked two members of the DIGS team at The Pinnacles to see what they think… Read the rest of this entry »

We’ve been inspried by one of our own favourite blogs (Student Beans)! Being at uni is all about having fun, making friends and studying (of course!).  However, many students these days have boyfriends/ girlfriends back home or meet someone they like here within the first week.  At first this may seem like an envious position to be in- having someone special to spend nights in with and of course a guaranteed date on Valentine’s Day.  But if you are single and haven’t met “the one” yet don’t worry- there are loads of reasons why being single whilst at university is great… Read our top ten favourites and you will soon be proudly reaching for that microwave meal for one! Chicken/stuffing Lasagne recipe

Recipe is usually used with leftover turkey after Christmas day but chicken works just as well :D
