Moussaka sounds complicated and when you try it is hard to believe that it is one of the easiest dishes to make as it has so much flavour.

A recent study by Sonja Lyubomirsky, a professor at the University of California, has revealed that happiness is a choice. The results have shown that 50% of our happiness is down to our genes, 10% by life circumstances and a staggering 40% is determined by our behaviour. Lyubomirsky says we can control how we feel and suggests using “happiness strategies” to increase how often you feel on top of the world. Read the rest of this entry »

Saturday 12th February saw Hallam take on Sheffield Uni for the annual winter varsity ice hockey match. The atmosphere could have been cut with a knife as University attempted to take victory for the first time in the seven year history of this event.
